Layers of Time captures the feeling of life unfolding slowly, one moment stacked upon another, each shaping the next. Built through a process of adding, covering, and erasing, the piece holds both presence and absence - what’s remembered, what’s forgotten, what leaves a trace.
It invites quiet reflection: How do our experiences shape us? What do we carry forward, and what gently fades into the background? Like weathered walls or old manuscripts, this artwork speaks to history written in fragments, to beauty found in impermanence, to the stories we keep and those we release.

“Nothing is ever truly erased. It’s only covered, softened by time, altered by light, layered by experience.”
This series of What the Layers Hold is a meditation on memory, impermanence, and the quiet transformations of time. Through layered printing, painting and collage, these mixed-media works explore what is visible on the surface - and what quietly remains beneath.
Geometric grids and organic marks intertwine, reflecting the tension between structure and erosion, control and surrender. Circles echo cycles of nature, breath, and renewal, while weathered textures speak to aging, transformation, and the fragile beauty of imperfection.
Built slowly and intuitively, each piece carries the rhythm and patience of handcraft, inviting the viewer to slow down and discover subtle details that emerge with time. These works are not immediate answers but quiet invitations - to look closely, to feel deeply, and to consider what your own layers hold.
All prices are final prices, plus shipping costs. No VAT is charged in accordance with § 19 UStG.
