What the Layers Hold
What Remains Unsaid is a meditation on the quiet weight of memory - the thoughts, feelings, and stories we carry but never fully voice. Soft layers of texture and color blur the line between what is revealed and what stays hidden, inviting the viewer into a space of reflection and quiet curiosity. This piece holds a subtle tension: strength and fragility, presence and absence, structure and erosion. I am Tatjana, a textile and mixed media artist. I love to find inspiration in nature, on hikes in the mountains, in the forest of my hometown or on a distant beach. Traveling and exploring different cultures are an endless source for my inspiration, shapes, lines and color. My work is abstract with layers, textures and patterns. I am drawn to exploring the beauty in the details of the everyday life.
My goal is to share the feeling of wonder and mindfulness with those who engage with my art and I invite you to find a little piece of yourself in the world of contemporary embroidery and mixed media art.
